It's 25th Dec today

I went to the church today - 8am mass. Quite a lot of people attended it today. But there were more people attended Christmas Eve mass last night. After the mass, I visited some Melanau's friends. They served us with variety of food. All you can eat. Have a look at the food served...

Gathering

I went out with a group of friends last Friday for a small gathering at Full House. Ms Fayrene just came back from Miri so we went out to meet her. We joked whole night. As I reached home, I realized that we didn't take any photo. So I got an idea... Look below pls... Cute? Hehe...
P/S: I'm not good at drawing so if you are not satisfied with the drawing please bear with it. ;->

What do you reckon?

My sister found this signboard very confusing so she snapped a photo of it. This signboard was found at the parking slot outside the coffeeshop compound. What do you think? Do you understand what it means? Funny? Hillarious? Confusing?

Breakfast..

After the church, I went to Sing Kwong doing some shopping. I was very hungry at that time as it was nearly 11 am and I hadn't taken my breakfast. So suddenly an idea came across my mind.. HAMBURGER. Ya, I was thinking of making hamburgers. So I bought some ingredients for making the burgers - beef slices, cabbages, lettuces, cheese and some buns. Let's have a look at my hamburger. Does it look delicious? ;>

It's Sunday - two more days before X'mas

Today as usual I went to the church with my family early in the morning. I remembered vividly that the Father mentioned today that we should wish each other "Holy Christmas" rather than "Merry Christmas". What is the true meaning for us to celebrate Christmas? Because of "Santa Claus is coming to town?", waiting for our gifts? or attending Christmas party? Christmas is not the time for fun only but also to celebrate our Lord Jesus' nativity. So wish everyone out there "Holy and Blessed Christmas!".

Yeah... Holiday!!

Today is my first day of holiday. Actually yesterday I was given a day off due to flooding. Flood is everywhere around Sibu. Heard that it will continue till this coming Sunday.I thought I can go shopping during my break but ended up staying at home because of this FLOOD. Guess what I did just now?? Gardening.. that's tiring. It's time to relax now. Hope that there will be no more flood around.

Christmas is coming soon...

Dear Santa,

Where are you now, Santa? Is there any gift for each and everyone here on earth? I wish to have... (unended list of wishlist items)

-Anonymous-

Christmas is coming and we are hoping to receive gifts from family members and friends. But it's not our culture to give away presents during Christmas. Anyway, some of us do practice it. Here I'm to wish everyone on the earth, "Merry Xmas and Happy New Year. May God bless you all and May the miracle of Christmas fill your heart with warmth and love."

My Christmas tree decorations and a bottle of white wine (given by my student) to be drunk on Christmas day. Wanna join me? ;-)

Beware of canned food & drink

IMPORTANT

A stock clerk was sent to clean up a storeroom in Maui , Hawaii ..

When he got back, he was complaining that the storeroom was really filthy and that he had noticed dried mouse/rat droppings in some areas. A couple of days later, he started to feel like he was coming down with a stomach flu, complained of sore joints and headaches, and began to vomit.

He went to bed and never really got up again. Within two days he was severely ill and weak. His blood sugar count was down to 66, and his face and eyeballs were yellow. He was rushed to the emergency at Pali-Momi, where he was diagnosed to be suffering from massive organ failure. He died shortly before midnight . No one would have made the connection between his job and his death, had it not been for a doctor who specifically asked if he had been in a warehouse or exposed to dried rat/mouse droppings at any time. They said there is a virus (much like the Hanta virus) that lives in dried rat and mouse droppings.

Once dried, these droppings are like dust and can easily be breathed in or ingested if a person does not wear protective gear or fails to wash face and hands thoroughly .

An autopsy was performed on the clerk to verify the doctor's suspicions.

This is why it is extremely important to ALWAYS carefully rinse off the tops of canned sodas or foods, and to wipe off pasta packaging, cereal boxes, and so on.

Almost everything you buy in a supermarket was stored in a warehouse at one time or another, and stores themselves often have rodents.

Most of us remember to wash vegetables and fruits but never think of boxes and cans.

The ugly truth is, even the most modern, upper-class, super store has rats and mice. And their warehouse most assuredly does!

Whenever you buy any canned soft drink, please make sure that you wash the top with running water and soap or, if that is not available, drink with a straw.

The investigation of soda cans by the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta discovered that the tops of soda cans can be encrusted with! dried rat's urine, which is so toxic it can be lethal. Canned drinks and other foodstuffs are stored in warehouses and containers that are usually infested with rodents, and then they get transported to retail outlets without being properly cleaned.

Please take note of this. Save our families, relatives, friends and all the people around the world.

Are you satisfied?

Just wonder how many of us are satisfied with our current jobs. As far as I know, most people aren't really satisfied with theirs. Why? Is it because of salaries or bosses or colleagues or etc.? Is it so hard to satisfy with what we have so far? As long as we do our parts and get our monthly salaries then we should be proud of ourselves. But things turn out to be not so easy as I thought it was... :(

Me, Myself & I

This is my first time writing a blog. I'm just a simple girl who likes to eat yoghurt pudding... ;) Right now, my mind is blank and I can't think of any interesting topics to write.

I will come back and update my blog when I've something really nice to share with.

Have a great time reading my blog! :)
